DOPPIO SOGNO

by Angelo Crespi

“There is no other option than to refer to two great artists like Peynet or Folon and there is no other way to depict this absolute moment of falling in love, that we all experience at least once in our lives, than through these marvellous sculptures.”

Giacinto Bosco’s exhibiton “Doppio Sogno” at Lake Iseo is curated by Angelo Crespi and presents about 40 bronze works that best represent the entire production of the Sicilian sculptor.

In a perfect combination between artwork and environment, the lakefront and the halls of the Arsenale Foundation become the scene of the representation of love according to Bosco, who has the artist’s wisdom to catch the promise of love when, by aiming at the moon, the two lovers promise eternity to each other.

The observer thus finds himself immersed in a double beauty, that of nature and that of the artwork, where dream and reality meet.
