Travolti dalla luna in Capri
A new monumental bronze sculpture by Giacinto Bosco welcomes visitors in Capri main square.
With the evocative title “Travolti dalla luna” (Moonstruck) the artwork depicts two lovers captured in a romantic embrace. The work challenges the viewer’s senses: through its rotating movement, the engagement is not only artistic but also emotional. The metaphorical overwhelm of love becomes a reality to be seen, felt, and experienced.
A new manifestation of shared art, promoted by Liquid Art System as a cultural initiative in one of the island’s most iconic and popular locations. “Travolti dalla luna” is harmoniously immersed in the surrounding landscape, framed by the blue of the sea and sky that form the backdrop. Bosco’s works, in which the solidity of bronze is placed at the service of the lightness of feelings, represent “small love idylls”, “sculptures in motion,” “talking” sculptures.
“The communicative power of his installations is linked to the universality of the message they convey, to their ability to “reach” the public directly and immediately,” comments Franco Senesi, CEO and founder of the gallery network. A consolidated relationship between gallery owner and artist, which has continued for over a decade.
“My sculptures are stories, often inspired by poetry, like romantic tales, and I believe that now more than ever, people need this: beauty and dreams.” Giacinto Bosco
